6 INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

(a) Q173DSCPU/Q172DSCPU battery replacement procedure

Remove the internal I/F connector

cable from Motion CPU.

Turn off the Multiple CPU system

power supply.

Replacing Battery

Turn on the Multiple CPU system

power supply for 10 minutes or longer.

Open the battery cover.

Connect the lead connector to the

battery connector.

END

Close the battery cover.

Connect the internal I/F connector

cable to the Motion CPU.

Turn on the Multiple CPU system

power supply.

Install a new battery to the battery

holder correctly after confirming "+"

side and "-" side for the battery.

Front face of Motion CPU

Disconnect the lead connector from

the battery connector. Remove the
